The photography has arrived out of my travel and interest in diverse cultures.  It has been in recent years that I decided to show the work in my exhibitions.  In the early days it was documentation for teaching and a reference for making paintings.  The decision to  finally exhibit the work developed slowly as I began to see the photographic image as worthy of exhibition.
