In the mid 90's I began to take seriously my photography.  Not just documenting archaeological sites, architecture and artifacts for my teaching.  I wanted photos that could stand on their own as works of art and at times used them as source material for painting and digital images.  At first I used the digital images in assemblages for works on paper but have come to see them as stand alone images.  It is a new direction for me and satisfies the need to make prints.
